I'm sipping my morning coffee ~ one (huge) cup, max ~ thinking about how fun it was to babysit my friend S&M's kids last night and listening to their 3-1/2 year old tell me about her pet fish, "Phoebe," ~ when I found this hilarious postcard I bought a few weeks ago at Elephant Pharmacy in Berkeley ~ What does it mean? Why is it so hilarious? Is it just me?

The artist behind the postcard is Jory John ~ the postcard is from his "Waterville" series, which, you might have guessed, is all about the life of some fish ~~ but they happen to encounter many of the same problems we land-dwellers do . The series (and Jory's other work) is great, but for some reason this postcard I found at the Pharmacy is not included in his on-line catalogue. Check out the on-line cartoon series! They are all hilarious but especially the Ocean-Hogging SUV Fish card, and the Homeland Security of The Sea, oh gawd, and When Fish Get Fin Implants. Funny! Or, again, is it just me?
SOOOOOOOOOOOO Cute!!!!!

Those are hilarious! I have a thing for fish in this way, so maybe I'm biased, but I love them!
