Where's the next installment? And ouch at the falling down the bunny slope. I wanted to laugh and both cry as I read this. :(

Isa: LOL ~ thanks! I didn't think of it that way! This is great to realize because, as you may know, I research (and worry) the hell out of everything, from what cereal to eat to where to live next. As I look back though, *most* of my kooky camping, rafting, hiking, and two road-trip adventures have been totally without much planning on my part ~ where I have trusted completely someone else, or fate, to guide things. That has made each trip amazing fun, even when I have been crying in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere ~ each experience has been unexpected and memorable. On this snow trekking trip, there was pain, there were tears, there was A LOT of profanity as I slipped and fell down the mountain ~ but I loved it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. ~ :)

wow! i can't believe you didn't know what the plans were before you left--and that you still did it! that's so awesome.
